I founded Black and Even in 2015 with a view of building an environment that was friendly, warm and welcoming. A safe place for friends and families to come for the best possible experience. Over the years, our team has become a family, one I’m proud of. It’s a home from home full of laughter, music, friends and most of all; like minded artists with incredible talent. I love my job and I’m honoured to be part of it.

Hello fellow humans of Earth; my name is Cara!
I’ve been tattooing for so long that in all honesty I forget the year I started, but we’re looking at 15+ years.
I love that I’m able to do the job that I do, and beyond creating designs with clients to make something new and personal, I love that I get a chance to make people happy - that’s what I think this job is when you break it down. If you’re not happy, I haven’t done my job!
I love black and grey shaded pieces: flowers/animals/humans… the lot! I also like to do script and do fine line work and really like doing little pieces as well as big and HUGE as they are all special and individual. I’m a bit of a nerd and a dork by all counts, but I would love to sit down with you and have a chat about the piece you would like and make sure you have a great experience with us all at Black & Even.

Your friendly neighbourhood tattoo artist! Specialising in illustrative, dark work, graphic/dark portraits and botanical tattooing.
I like to use a lot of traditional influences mixed with graphic styles to create "dark traditional-esque designs"
As much as I love skulls and weaponry, I also really enjoy delicate floral work and wildlife. Huge love for gaming and pop culture so bring on the Lord of the rings, Star Wars, anime and gears of war tattoos!
